This is a new chapter in the Behemoth Coffee universe. We’ve raised the bar and proudly present The Shadow Elite — the first in a new line of even higher-grade specialty coffees. Developed in collaboration with a new artisan roastery, these coffees are officially SCA-rated and crafted with precision and care. This is our first ground coffee! 

No Grinder or Automatic Espresso Machine Needed

This is pre-ground coffee, which means you don’t need a coffee grinder or a fully automatic espresso machine to enjoy it. You can easily brew it using simple home methods such as:

• Moka Pot – A classic stovetop coffee maker that uses pressure to brew rich, strong coffee. Just fill the bottom with water, add ground coffee to the filter, and place it on the stove.

• Immersion Brewing (e.g., glass or French press) – Add ground coffee and hot water into a container, let it steep for a few minutes, and then strain or press to separate the grounds. It’s simple and produces a smooth, full-bodied cup.

• Manual Espresso Machine (Portafilter) – If you have a home espresso machine with a portafilter (the handle with a metal basket), this coffee is ready to use. Just tamp the coffee into the portafilter and brew like a barista.

Our grind is versatile and ideal for these brewing methods, offering a great cup whether you prefer strong espresso-style coffee or a milder immersion brew.

What is SCA?
SCA stands for Specialty Coffee Association — a global organization that sets the highest quality standards for coffee production, from bean to cup. Coffees are graded on a 100-point scale by certified cuppers, and only those scoring above 80 points are classified as “specialty.”

The Shadow Elite has received an official SCA score of 83 points, confirming its exceptional quality, traceability, and flavor profile.

The Shadow Elite is a single origin, 100% Arabica Yellow Bourbon coffee from the Minas Gerais region of Brazil. Carefully selected beans undergo natural processing, resulting in an intense, full-bodied flavor with low acidity and a smooth finish.

In the cup, expect a sweet and balanced profile with rich notes of caramel, milk chocolate, and hazelnut — a perfect choice for fans of deep, velvety brews.
