Behemoth ' Contra' Long Hooded Open Edge Cardigan

Heavy 260 gsm combed cotton, oversized hood, open front, cut long — this is the kind of cardigan you reach for without thinking. Sewn in Poland: dense, structured, warm without being stiff. Unbrushed inside — no fleece backing, so the face stays smooth instead of going fuzzy with wear. It gets better with age.

Long and asymmetric. It falls to just above the knee, with a stepped, pointed hem that sits longer at the back than at the sides. The front is open edge — no buttons, no zip, no closure at all — and the edges are left raw and lightly frayed. A vintage finish, worn in from day one.

Woven tape runs down both front edges and over the hood, carrying two Behemoth motifs — the Contra sigil and the line THRU FIRE WE WALK, WITH FIRE IN HEARTS — worked into the fabric rather than printed on it. Branded neck tape inside. Two deep slit pockets. A hood built to actually be worn up: deep, structured, and heavy enough to hold its shape over your head instead of collapsing.

Cut unisex and sized generously. Wear it over a tee, over a hoodie, over a jacket.

Certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class I — the strictest of the four product classes, the one required for clothing made for babies and toddlers. Almost no adult garment is tested to it.
