A self-contained body of work connecting Behemoth’s earliest roots with the weight and intensity of their present-day sound.

The title track explores the relentless process of shaping yourself, pairing monumental arrangements with unexpected turns. Lord ov the Horizons moves between lyrical passages and a more direct, militant attack, while Begotten brings a different shade of heaviness through its new-wave pull and post-gothic edges.

Two tracks revisit the band’s past. Rise of the Blackstorm of Evil, originally from The Return of the Northern Moon, and In Thy Pandemaeternum, from Pandemonic Incantations, have been re-recorded with Behemoth’s current sound and playing while retaining the raw spirit of the originals.

The release also pays tribute to two formative influences. Venom’s In League With Satan features Shagrath of Dimmu Borgir on guest vocals, with seven-string guitars adding further weight. Bathory’s The Return of Darkness and Evil appears as a live recording captured in Athens, with Sakis Tolis of Rotting Christ joining the band on vocals. A studio rough mix of Lord ov the Horizons closes the release.

Edition details

Format: CD

Packaging: Digipack

Label: Massacre Records

Edition: Standard, non-limited release

Signatures: Unsigned

Tracklist

I, Scvlptor

Lord ov the Horizons

Rise of the Blackstorm of Evil

In Thy Pandemaeternum

Begotten

In League With Satan

The Return of Darkness and Evil (Live)

Lord ov the Horizons (Studio Rough Mix)

Please note: This is the regular Massacre Records CD digipack edition.
